Opinions? These are the sorts of questions I would ask if I made a survey: in People suck. Cats are awesome. Dogs are alright.

This seemed like a reasonable way to pass the time while I wait for my sedatives to kick in. So, are these poor questions? Honesty, please.

I keep referring to surveys as “stupid”, so it seems logical that I might try to make my own; and someone else said something supportive to that effect, so here we are.

The difference is that I prefer questions with depth. Maybe ordinary people just don’t like to delve much past the surface of their lives? My therapist says of aspies, “We’re not puddles. We’re deep.” The obvious insinuation being that other people aren’t.

In which case I could intentionally try to make one that’s shallow, but the sarcasm would be obvious; with questions like:

Do you have lampshades in your home?

Sunglasses or a hat?

Do you flush every single time you use the restroom?

Do you use the AC in your car, or just leave all of the windows down?

But anyway:

If your house were on fire; and every living thing, (family, kids, and pets), and all of your photos were already out of the house, and you had time to get just three things out, what would they be, and why?

Have you, or anyone you’re still close to, ever been in jail, and why? (This one might be too personal for people. Unsure.)

What small, or otherwise ordinary thing, changed your life forever, and why?

If you had a magic lamp with one wish, with no limitations, what would it be?

If you could live anywhere, at any time, where and when would you go, and why?

What was the most horrible television show or movie you’ve ever seen, and why?

What’s the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever done, that you can admit to?

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever been subjected to?

What’s your usual, all day, beverage?

What’s your worst vice?

Do you collect, or want to collect, anything?

I know, everyone is supposed to “forgive and forget”, but is there anyone you’d like to see hit by a semi?

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen, (in real life)?

What’s your preferred flooring, (carpet, tile, hardwood, etc.), and why?
